On December 14th at 12PM EST, our team at WBI will be hosting a webinar exploring the disciplined rules-based tactical approach of commodities exposure in WBIs model portfolios on Envestnet, along with special guest Tim Pickering, founder of Auspice Capital. Auspice Capital is the creator of the tactical rules-based broad commodity index (ABCERI) that the Direxion Auspice Broad Commodity strategy (ticker: COM) seeks to track. The COM ETF consists of exposure to a basket of 12 commodities within three distinct sectors (Energy, Metals, Grains/Softs). The strategy is unique in that it is a long/flat approach to broad commodity investing in which price trends will determine whether an individual commodity is either Long or in Cash.
Tim's background is in the commodity and financial markets with a specialization in energy and commodity trading. Before founding Auspice, Pickering gained extensive experience working in various roles related to trading and investment strategy. Under his leadership, Auspice Capital Advisors has aimed to offer innovative investment products, such as ETFs or other investment vehicles, designed to provide commodity exposure and capital appreciation opportunities to investors. The firm is known for its systematic and quantitative approach to trading and investment, which could involve algorithmic strategies that aim to capture trends in the commodity markets.
Join us on the 14th to hear from Tim Pickering himself and learn more about WBI Model Portfolios now on Envestnet.
